Trishna asked for numbers the other day, for a Google.org survey, and it reminded me of a 2004 blog post titled, McDonalds numbers. :)
So, here's a 2008 version of that table (most of which was shared at the last Tiger Team meeting):

CharityFocus.org | 226.2K total subscribers, 187.8K active, 48.3K members, 13.7K volunteers | In 2008: 100K new subscribers, 50 million emails sent. Growth is exponential. | CF site is more of thin container; most of the action is decentralized. |
HelpOthers.org | 56.4K subscribers, 5.9K Smile Group members | 850K cards printed to date, 23.2K order shipped, 9.8K kindness stories, 34.9K comments, 300K page views/month. | 40 orders/day is 2008 average. 30-40 shippers worldwide help ship every week. KarmaBucks is creating its own economy. :) |

DG has sent daily email for more than 10 years straight! | DG gets about 600K page views/month, 4.9K comments and 5.9K forwards (in 2008). | DailyGood is heading toward web 2.0 revamp; TOW is now an aggregator, looking for a new brand. |

Conversations.org, iJourney.org, InspiringMessages | 19.3K subscribers to works & conversation eNewsletter in 1.7 years. | 172 stories online, 210 comments, 567 print subscriptions to w&c. | Audio conversations are coming up. iJourney maybe consolidated soon; IM on auto-pilot. |
Local: Wednesdays, Karma Kitchen, ... | Decentralized posses, strongest in Bay-Area, LA, and NY, Bombay, Ahmedabad. Also in dozen other places, including Alaska! :) | More than 20K people fed at Inter-galactic headquarters. :) KK drew 100's of volunteer hours and thousands of diners. Guest speaker events draw 100 people on 1-day notice. | Organically formed local chapters, organized around Smile Card kindness and Wednesday-style meditation. |
