A)The Children's Computer Center Ltd. is an organization founded in 1989 by Neil Horgan. And it is an organization dedicated to the education of children.


Q) How does the Children's Computer Center help to educate children?

A) The Children's Computer Center Ltd. collects used computers and refurbishes them to be donated to children that have no computer at home due to no fault of the parents nor the child.


Q) Where does the Children's Computer Center obtain the computers that it donates to the children?

A) The computers are donated by concerned individuals and a few large companies that share the same belief that all children should be able to receive an equal education. We also feel that a child that does not have a computer at home is at a disadvantage because he or she can not practice what they are taught at school.


Q) How does the Children's Computer Center decide who to donate computers to?

A) The Center is usually contacted by either the school, the State Department of Human Services or any other concerned agency.


Q) How does a person or corporation make a donation?

Q) What is a 501 (c) (3) approved company?

A) It is a Non-Profit organization that is registered with the Internal Revenue Service and is approved so that the donors' donations are tax-deductible.


Q) What else is needed by The Children's Computer Center?

A) Besides Computers we are in need of Licensed Operating Systems such as Windows 3.11, 95,or 98. We also need educational software.
