Campus:
SSSM is located at village Babapur of Amreli district, Gujarat State on the
Bhavnagar - Junagadh state highway. It is 17 km from Amreli and 19 km from
Bagasara (Meghani). The population of Babapur village is only 3000.
The following institutions are on campus:
1. Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools
The post basic High School and Higher Secondary School consists of
eight classes of 8th to 12th standards. Total present students are 425. Total
students passed S.S.C. are about 2500. Exam results: Secondary 75-93 %.
Higher Secondary 95-100%. Self-help, supplementary classes and
co-curricular activities are included.
2. Female Teachers’ Training College
Started in 1963. There are currently 175 girl trainees from all over
Gujarat State. Total trainees who have passed P.T.C. are about 3700. We have
highly qualified and dedicated teachers.
3. The Boarding House
Separate hostels for boys and girls especially for weaker and backward class
villagers. It also helps in cultivating the quality and dignity of labor and
provides the opportunity of earning while learning along with interaction with
others.
4. The Balghar (Childrens' Home)
The orphan children who are deprived of the family life and parental love are
being provided love and warm security with personal care since 1992. Free residence,
food, clothing, medical, education is provided. The institution bears the total
expenses without any government help. At present 16 children stay at home.
One studies in L. G. Arts College, Ahmedabad, two boys and three girls in
secondary and higher secondary schools and the rest in primary schools.

An association of the all above educational institutions was established in the
year 1959 under the leadership of late Balubhai Bhatt. The association was named
as Amreli Vibhag Kelavani Sangh. The villagers had great faith in Balukaka who
served for the villages for 25 years to make them self sufficient and modern.
