I cannot fathom Why
The white clouds in the sky
Don't fall out.
I cannot fathom How
When the time is always Now
Then Happens.
--Pavithra Krishnan
Examples of Pavi's work:
- With One Heart:
A beautiful story about an evening with Heng Sure and Heng Ch'au -- two
monks who took a bowing pilgrimage of 800 miles.
- The Rebel Who Found A Cause:
A profile of an everyday hero who says: 'Service used to be an idea to me- now it's Life. I'm not very good at it, but I've got some great people around to help me out'. That's Yaniv Cohen. A guy whose generosity of heart is matched only by his humility of spirit.
- A Lesson in Grace
An accident leaves her severly handicapped, an eye infection leaves him blind. Together, each year they work on a special set of greeting cards. Manohar does the drawing and Mahema prepares a short write-up explaining the particular significance of the place, building, statue or scene that he has drawn. The cards are sold and the proceeds donated to one of the many charities they are involved with. Meet the Devadoss's, a couple in a small town of India.
- Country of Crowds:
A narrative on the experience of one sunny morning, sitting at the bus stop.
- To Serve With Love:
Brother James Kimpton has been planting trees for a lifetime and he doesn't plan on stopping now. His motto: "Much of what we do is like planting trees under which we may never sit, but plant we must."
- Poems: Want the Adventure,
You know there are times
Oh and by the way, one of Pavi's source of inspiration is her grandfather:
Dr. V.
