Dear Volunteers,

Thank you for RSVP'ing for Help-The-Homeless!  Our plan is to meet
at 10 AM, make sandwiches, split up into teams of three's and hit
the streets by 12:30; we'll share lunches and time with the homeless
and reconvene around 2:30PM to share stories/perspectives. We will
be meeting at Shanti's woodshop (address below).

WHAT TO BRING:
Simply bring your open heart and a bag that can carry 10 lunches.
If it's raining, bring an umbrella -- yup, we've done many times in
the rain!  Do bring all your friends but have them RSVP online

The entire event generally costs about $400 for raw
materials; we don't solicit any donations but you can contribute

Quite simply, this event first started when a few volunteers
decided to do something ordinary with an extraordinary heart.
We thank you for participating in that spirit.  For many of us,
this activity has not only brought deeper insights into our own
lives, but also provides an opportunity to share of ourselves and
foster true human connections.

P.S. Some details for finding the woodshop:

1485 Bayshore is actually a Sales Mart Office.  There is a gate
on the left side of the building that's usually locked on weekends;
we'll try to leave it open but if it's closed by others, use 5757
for the simple combo lock.  Shanti's woodshop is all the way behind
the office, in the rear parking lot; it's a white warehouse and
has a sign that says 'WOODSHANTI' over the garage door.
