Hello, my name is Katy and I am writing to you on behalf of Charity Focus. Charity Focus is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, started in April 1999, to empower nonprofits with web-based technological solutions. www.charityfocus.org Since this inception, our organization has grown exponentially. Now, with over 3,400 volunteers and chapters in 12 different countries, we have not only increased the number of volunteers but we have also expanded the services that we provide and our involvement in the communities around us.

Our slogan "Helping Others Help Others" is representative of the spirit and motivation that fuels Charity Focus. In theme with our slogan, the organization provides a chance for individuals to become part of the spirit of giving by opening opportunities to contribute in our various projects. Along with *free* web-design services to non-profits, Charity Focus hosts several unique, one-day events in the community. One such event, "Help the Homeless", has been a huge success and continues to draw new volunteers every year.

One exceptionally unique characteristic of Charity Focus is that we are fully volunteer run, and therefore, with virtually 0% overhead. We thrive on the energy and donations from volunteers and any other contributions sent from outside resources. I am inviting you to become part of the space of giving by helping us with a contribution from your store for an upcoming event. We are hosting a "Help the Homeless" food drive on May 2nd in San Francisco and would greatly benefit from a contribution of any of these items: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sandwich rolls, apples, bananas, and/or bottled water. We acknowledge the high quality of your merchandise and would be proud to offer only the best to people in such need.

Mahatma Gandhi once said, "A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history." Imagine what a large body can do.
